The Artists Avenue Musical Theater Program
Music Theory
Music Theory students will be learning basic music theory, such as notes, rhythm, intervals, and the grand staff.
Public Speaking
Public Speaking students will be learning how to articulate and express ideas, while communicating with tact and respect.
Drama
Drama students will be learning acting basics, inhibitions, body control and movement, voice projection, diction and memorization.
Singing
Singing students will be learning how to focus on using propoer vocal techniques, including breathing and singing without tension. Some excercises are vocal warm-ups, singing songs with a group, receiving instruction on proper breathing, gaining confidence in singing with others, singing with live piano and track accompaniment.
